 Beyonce Knowles, an American pop star, actress, entrepreneur and philanthropist, has a net that exceeds $500 million. Beyonce Knowles was a part of the Girl's Tyme rap-and-dancing group on the 1990s' TV show "Star Search". It was her first introduction to fame. Girl's Tyme struggled in the later 1990s but was signed by Columbia Records in 1997 under its new name, Destiny's Child.Destiny's Child would go through seven albums, five of which went platinum. The group sold over 50 million albums around the world. Their hit song "No. No. No" was awarded the Best R&B/Soul Single Award. "Say My Name" is among the most popular Destiny's Child songs, won the award for the best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals" as well as "Best R&B Song." Other hits from Destiny's Child include "The Writing's On the Wall", "Jumpin, jumping," and "Bills Bills, Bills, bills". After they finished their debut album "8 Days of Christmas" the group decided to separate and focus on their own projects. Beyonce decided to go it on her own and released a number of highly profitable solo albums. She also developed a serious acting career with leading parts in Dreamgirls, Cadillac Records, Obsessed and Austin Powers.
