 Michael Oher, an American football offensive tackle, is an estimated worth of $16 million. Oher's personal story was chronicled in the Academy Award-winning 2009 film "The Blind Side" which starred Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. Michael's role was played by Quinton Aaron.Michael Oher was born May 28th the 28th of May, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee. Oher was the son of Denise Oher (an alcoholic and crack cocaine addict) and Michael Jerome Williams (a father who spent a lot of time in prison). Due to his environment the child received very little attention or discipline during his early years. He re-entered second and first grades, and attended 11 different schools in his initial nine years as a pupil. At the age of seven He was placed in foster custody. He lived in different foster homes and experienced periods of being homeless. Oher's biological father, a former cellmate Denise Oher’s brother, was killed in prison when Oher was a senior high school student. A young Michael Oher was finally taken in by Sean Tuohy and Leigh Anne Tuohy, when he was just 16 years old. The Tuohys became his legal guardians at the age of 17. They enlisted Oher to be a tutor.
