 Jeremy Lin is a retired American professional basketball player who has a net worth of $36 million. In the final stages of his career he played with China Basketball Association's Beijing Ducks. He was a player with the Los Angeles Lakers and Charlotte Hornets and also the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Raptors, Houston Rockets and Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Lin was the first American with Chinese as well as Taiwanese descent as well as the first Asian-American athlete in the NBA and the first Asian-American to be awarded a championship and the first Asian American to lead the Knicks to seven consecutive wins. He was able to guide the Knicks to 7 straight wins and kick-started what the sports world refers to as "Linsanity".In 2012, when "Linsanity" began to take off, Jeremy Lin was playing out his second year on a 2-year contract signed by the Golden State Warriors, but was purchased by the Knicks. Lin became a restricted-free agent following the 2012 season that allowed him to solicit deals from teams other than his own.
