He began by making compilation CDs with short tracks under the name Quakebeat. At time, he was a member of various bands, such as the hip-hop group Womb 2 Da Tomb (with fellow Bring Me the Horizon member Matt Nicholls and brother Tom Sykes) and the metal group Purple Curto, under the pseudonym "Olisaurus", which was later used to release his own material. The death metal group Bring Me the Horizon was founded in 2004 by Oliver Sykes (lead singer), Lee Malia, Matt Nicholls and Jordan Fish (drummer). Since then, the band has released four studio albums as well as two extended shows. They are famous for their heavy metalcore sound. But their latest releases have a more eclectic sound.
