Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. The is the son of Manny James and Patty James of mixed race. He is the son of a Nigerian father and a Caucasian woman. His father is Nigerian and his mother is an American of caucasian descent. He completed his studies at Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 2015 James became famous when He appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality TV show star. In 2020, he was chosen to play the role of Bachelor for season 25, becoming The only African American male lead which will premiere in 2021. James was a perfect fit for the role as He is attractive, well-rounded and tall and has a sense of comedy. The season ended when he picked Rachael Krkconnell as his choice to begin an affair with the actress. He was paired with the famous dancer Arnold in 2021 and competed on the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James along with Arnold were ranked 12th.
